  1. for a student like me having the portability of a laptop and the power of a a gpu to do 3d modelling and rendering at home, razer core is a perfect solution especially to those who doesn't want to keep two computers.

  2. The Razer Core is $500!! You still have to add in a GPU!

What was Razer's marketing dept. smoking when they came up with this price? I'll rather look at Asus ROG X2 or PowerColor's DevilBox enclosures. They both do the same thing without ridiculous pricing.

  3. Some more apple bashing? I remember in a tek ages ago when Wendell and Logan were both slating Apple for using thunderbolt but now we see everyone rushing to jump on the bandwagon started by Apple. Wendell says "its not an apples to apples comparison" when comparing thunderbolt on mac to it on pc he is right, its not. Apple are way ahead and made it a brilliant application while Microsoft still has it's head up it's arse. By the way, I'm not a fan boy but I get fed up with their continued denial that Apple does actually do some good things.

  4. Not available on the uk and through importing the price can reach £1500 for just the core and stealth then you need all the peripherals and gpu itself which can reach £2000 with just a monitor keyboard stealth core and 1060 and mouse

  5. Recent college grad with serious envy on this one. When I was looking at laptops for my freshman year of college the "serious" portable gaming solutions were either 17" behemoths, or that terrible Alienware m11x, the one that looked like a multicolor toaster.

  6. im thinking of getting this for FL Studio 12 but I'm worried about the 8gb of ram, would it run it fast still even with the limited ram it has?

  7. Which one is better macbook pro retina 13"( base model) or new razer blade stealth ( 16gb ram, uhd screen , intel 7th gen i7 processor with bigger battery) in terms of performance, looks and built quality thanx !

  8. About 10 years ago, I asked a Customer Service at my local tech store, if they Would have Something like a external gpu to connect To my PC. He laughed at me. Guess whos laughing now ?!

  9. Hi, is the i7 7600u dual core a big bottleneck? I know that it has hyperthreading but will I still be able to run cpu intensive games?

  10. I think the idea to have gamer notebook is no more corded things! Thunderbolt cords, keyboard cords, more power cords, mouse cords, monitor cords GOD!!! This Core is obsolete is better use a desktop mini tower! I will get Razer Blade 1060 or Alienware 1060 no more cords PLEASEEeeeeeeeeeee

  11. You said you tested some other than GTA V and Doom. Do you happen to have a record of the other games and their performance with the core?
